Mission

League Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency serving individuals with psychiatric and developmental disabilities. Each day, we serve over 500 at-risk and under-served individuals from all parts of the greater New York City area.

At the League, every individual is a success story waiting to begin. Our vision is to discover and nurture each person's strengths and abilities. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed in school, in program, in the community and in life.

Our clinical services include psychiatry, psychology, and social work. We offer speech/language, physical and occupational therapies, and creative arts therapies. Our school programs offer educational services that include family support workshops and advocacy services. Our clinical and educational teams work together to provide the support and structure needed to modify challenging behaviors and reduce psychiatric difficulties.
