Sibling Day will begin with a school tour. We’ll show students' brothers and sisters all the fun things they do during their school day.
After the tour, siblings will have their pictures taken together. We'll frame the picture, and parents can take the photos home at the end of the day.
We'll serve pizza for lunch. Then, students' siblings will meet with other kids their age who have siblings at JFTN. These small groups are led by members of our staff. Children can share what's fun about having a sibling and what makes having a sibling difficult at times.
Finally, siblings will work together on an art project. They can add it to our "sibling tree" hanging in the hallway. JFTN students will see the artwork each day at school, so it can be a nice reminder of their family's visit.
You can help your child prepare for Sibling Day by reading our social story with them. Download and print the story, or read the online version below.
